Description

Fly a piece of iconic aviation history, a 1940 Stearman with the Lycoming R-680-13 300 hp 9-cylinder radial. Instructor pilot required for familiarisation and checkout. Or if you have a new PPL(A) and want to get a few Stearman dual hours in your logbook this can be arranged. All flying to/from YPJT with landings at other aerodromes permissible.

Minimum Pilot Requirements

For insurance purposes you will need to have 5 hrs on type (Instructor can be provided), 200 hrs tailwheel and 1000 hrs total.

There is scope to get the 1000 hrs reduced on a case-by-case basis with Instructor pilot check.

If you just want to fly dual with experience (well) below the minimums above for an awesome experience and put a Stearman hour or two in your logbook, this can be easily arranged :-)
