Piper Cherokee 140B. All pilots must present a current AU license (or OS equivalent), current medical certificate, have at least 5 hours on type (an instructor can be organised to obtain proficiency), and have at least 100 hours total time (insurance requirement).

Minimum Pilot Requirements

All prospective hirers must undertake a flight check with an owner. The flight check consists of 3 landings, a normal landing at the PICs discretion, a flapless landing, and a glide approach. This generally takes 0.3 at hire rates with a 0.2 fixed fee at owners rates.

Additional Pricing Information

The hire rate is based on Tacho time and includes wet hire and GST. When compared with other hire rates, it would equate to a hire rate of $232 elsewhere.
